My cute little birthday boy laying on the floor watching Elmo!
He was done cuddling with me! He just wanted to sit by himself and finish his movie!
Brian wanted to spoil our little guy. So we got on Amazon and ordered this Power Wheels Ford. It wasn't going to make it on time - at least that's what it said on the estimated delivery date. Well... it came the night before! I was so excited and happy! So was Brian! We put it together that night and even let Isaac have a sneak peek. Which means he just got it a day early!
The morning of his birthday when we went upstairs... he went straight for it! He was so excited! [I think we'll need to have a lesson on not drinking while driving. ;)]
This is MY truck! Hands off!
Birthday lunch! He really just liked the fries! He did eat a few chicken pieces though!
Love my Birthday boy!!! [With the big blue eyes!]
So I had been looking for Elmo cakes EVERYWHERE! They are expensive... and I didn't want to make it. My mom told me to check with the lady that made my wedding cakes [yes we had 2]. I called her three days before his birthday and she said she could do it! PLUS it was about half the price! I was so happy! She also delivered it!!! I feel like she did a great job! [I may have done the eyes different... but still! NOT BAD!]
Isaac is my great little sleeper! I am so happy he still takes naps. HE NEEDS THEM... and so do I! :)
He was out! Drooling and everything! [Sadly he gets that from me] It was time to get going to his party. I felt bad that I had to wake him... but he had been asleep for about 3 hours. So I didn't feel too bad!
Our house is SO small, there was no way we could fit all the people in it. So my sweet sister got her church for us. It felt silly getting a church, but it worked out GREAT!!! Everyone could play in the gym. Here is the primary room. As you can tell... the theme was ELMO! I got made fun of... I went a little overboard on the Elmo stuff!
Isaac's loot! Spoiled little guy! :)
[The high chair was already ours!]
Love his huge Elmo balloon!
Isaac running and playing in the gym! Here he was running for Dad and the basketball he was playing with!
He wanted to play basketball too! Like the hat Brian!
He loves his Aunt Kay-key [Katie] and Bampa [Grandpa] Bruce!
Snuggling with Aunt Kay-key
Cute little Kate playing with her new bubbles with Momma Christy! Kate and Isaac are less then a year apart and like to play!
Isaac waiting so patiently for Aunt Katie to blow some bubbles!
The crowd getting some snacks and waiting for cake and presents!
Since it was HIS party... I let him help himself to what he wanted! He sure likes chips!
Haha... dipping his chips into the salsa! What a character!
The only thing is... he would LICK the salsa off and then RE-dip! Like I said... it's his birthday!!!
We started to sing to him... he wasn't totally sure what to think!
But then we got to his name in the song and he got really excited! This was after the song and then everyone clapped! He was so stoked! He wanted us to sing again. I think Brian and I sang to him for the next week. He loved it! Hahaha!!!
Not sure what he was supposed to do with the candle! We blow on food all the time. But he didn't get it!
Me handing him his cake!
He's not sure what to do with it! He doesn't get sweets very often... ok or ever! He dug right in with his first birthday cake. But here... he didn't.
He is picking off the red frosting ever so gingerly and eating it.
Brian trying to help him figure it out! DIG IN ISAAC!
He wasn't very happy with Dad for that. Here he is wiping his hands off! HAHA!
This is the worst it got! A little frosting on his face. He never actually got to the cake part.
So I took the cake and he wanted chips! This made him happy!
Eating his chips, while Grandpa tries to help him figure out his presents!
He can only do it with one hand... cause he needs to lick the salt off his frito chips!
Not sure why he is saying all done... so funny!
Excited about all his Elmo stuff!
Very focused on his new books!
Cute Christian helping him open toys and show him what they are!
STINKER!
Brian found the Piñata candy... and was trying to steal it!
He thought he could hide it in his shirt... Hmmmm!
He didn't get away with it... so instead he just sat down with it and started sharing it with everyone and of course eating some at the same time! Good thing I got plenty of candy!
He is so funny!!!
We were over doing the Piñata and he was just off by himself! He takes after his Dad! Brian used to do this when he was little. Happiest when he was just left alone!
All the other kids super excited about the Piñata!
My cute family!!!
Love my little Elmo boy!
He is so big! [That's what he is showing me here!]
Playing with his new, very own, musical laptop!
