Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving with the Hoskisson Clan!

This year we had dinner up in Heber at the Hoskisson's House!

We had a wonderful time!

Eating is always wonderful right? I sure think so!

We had a small crew this year, compared to last time...

It was: Bruce, Alison, Lisa, Sarah, Ryan, Katie, Brian and I

Needless to say... it was pretty quiet, for the most part!

We are so thankful for our wonderful families

and the time we get to share with them!

They are such a huge blessing in our lives!

We love them so much!!!

Thanksgiving makes us full and tired!

Except for Bruce... it didn't make him too tired!

He was having fun, trying to fart on everyone...

seeing that I wasn't on the receiving end! :)

It was time to update the family pictures!

There is never a good time to do this... the family is always growing...

It was time... no more putting it off!

Baby news!!

How sad that it has taken me so long to get back on!

But I am now here and will try and stay ahead once again!

BIG NEWS!!!

I am having a baby!!!!!!

We found out on August 3rd that I was pregnant.

I was terribly sick, and was only 2 weeks pregnant.

We had a LONG 4 months of me being sick... ALL day EVERY day.

It has started to subside, and now is usually just the evenings.

On October 30th, I went in for my Ultrasound.

I had asked everyone to make a guess of what we may be having.

Since it was the day before Halloween...

We all guessed whether it was going to be a WITCH or WIZARD!

What a joy our ultrasound was!

Our little one was a mover, even though I couldn't really feel it.

[Which I can now!!!!!]

At the very end we found out that our little bundle of joy was a...

BOY!!!!

Oh what a joy! Oh he is so cute too!

I can't wait for him to join our family... so I can hold him and love him!

We have decided to name our little one...

ISAAC!!!!

We are not sure for middle names yet.

What a joyous journey and adventure he is bringing into our lives!

Jones Hole

In June... Brian and I went to Jones Hole

an hour out of Vernal.

It's pretty cool to go down and see the fish hatchery.

Funny fish, they jump out of the water,

where the water is coming in.

I got quite a kick out of that.

The pictures didn't turn out for that though.

We then went for a smaller hike,

well about a mile or so in and then out.

It was nice... plus we got to see some petroglyphs.

I took some pictures with my phone

cause I thought they were cool

and we forgot our camera... of course!

We had fun... we did a little bit of fishing also.

Brian caught a nice fish

and I had already taken my phone back by then.

Sad!!

Maybe next time...

Anniversary!!

We have now been married for FOUR years!

Times FLIES when your having FUN!

We spent the day in Vernal,

doing the neccesary things that needed to be taken care of.

Groceries

New Water Heater for the downstairs!!!!

[No more washing the dishes in ice water :)]

and

a New Toilet for the upstairs!!!

[Now we don't have to run downstairs in the morning!]

We were also able to go out to lunch at our favorite Chinese Restruant!

We love eating there... it's ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! :)

We got home, unloaded the truck and headed out to dinner!

We like to go up to Red Canyon Lodge for our

Anniversary Dinner!

The view and atmosphere is beautiful!

We also saw DR. PHIL there eating.

He had gone down the Green River fishing!

It was pretty neat to see him two tables away!

It was a nice Anniversary... Maybe next year for our BIG 5

we will travel somewhere fun!!

Eat at the Red Canyon Lodge!!

Crazy Weather

It has now been a week up here at Flaming Gorge...

We have seen ALL weather types up here.

The beginning of last week, we woke up to snow

for 4 days. Brrrrrr.... I am ready for Spring at least,

if now Summer. It's been cold, but I've been living up to my

nickname with the Hoskissons!

WOODCHUCK

I tend to burn most of the firewood we have stocked.

I can't resist a good fire!!

It's the best to sit by the fire and have a good book to read.

I LOVE IT!!!

Work has been going alright

Brian is getting good trips - averages 4-6 a week.

The dam has been slow, especially with this weather.

But it will pick up soon, usually around Memorial Day and

then when school gets out, we will see even more.

Our days will pick up soon, with good weather we hope.

BUT NOT TOO HOT!!!

Flaming Gorge!!!

It's that time again!!!

SUMMER!!!

Brian left for Flaming Gorge April 16th

and I am leaving May 8th!

-

Brian will be a Fly Fishing guide on the Green River again

and I will be a DAM tour guide, again!

-

It's so much fun to spend our summers this way!

It's peaceful, quite, relaxing and just plain wonderful!!

-

We will be in the "LOVE NEST" again,

which is in the loft at the Hoskisson cabin!

This will be our 5th summer up at Flaming Gorge!

Crazy how time flies... We started this right after we got married!

It's nice to get away for the summer...

away from the:

HEAT

Crowds

HEAT

Work

HEAT

School

did I mention HEAT???

It will be another fun summer... I'll try and stay up to date

and keep things posted...

we don't have an internet up there though...

Okay,

So many people have started BLOGGING...

so why not jump on the band wagon?

It will probably be pretty slow on here for awhile,

seeing as that not much is going on right now...

but I will try and add new things as much as I can

or as anything exciting happens!
