Thanksgiving 2010

I'M SO GRATEFUL!!!

This year we had Thanksgiving with the Hoskisson Family! We decided that we would reserve our church house for the family to use.
That way Grandpa would be able to join us, but we wouldn't have to try and fit everyone in our little house. It was perfect! We had a total of 16people. So not a ton... but still too many for our little house. We had Granpda Claude,
Bruce, Alison and Katie... The moon family - Rick, Janice, Whitney, Courtney, Kaden, Elisabeth, and Mckenna... Brian, Isaac and myself... and Sarah and Ryan! The food was delicious and the company even better. The kids LOVED having the gym to play in and run around in... Especially Isaac! :) He didn't stop moving! [Of course!]

This year I have so much to be grateful for... I don't even know where to start...
BRIAN
I am so grateful for Brian and his love! He is such a wonderful husband and father. I am so grateful he makes it possible for me to be a stay at home mommy to our sweet Isaac! I am so grateful for how much he loves me and that he shows me everyday that he does. I am so grateful for all his hard work with school and work. I am so grateful for his encouragement on all the things that I do and his support! Love you sweet heart!!!

[Brian at dinner... we celebrated some birthdays too! I love his sense of humor!]

ISAAC
I am so grateful for my sweet little boy! He is the light of my life! I am so grateful for his sweet spirit and the joy he brings into our home. I am so grateful for his sweet smile and how it makes me smile! I am so grateful for his laugh! It is music to my ears! I love how smart he is and how he wants to figure everything out! Love you sweet Isaac!!!
[I love my sweet boy! He loved playing in the cooler with Grandpa Bruce teasing him while the Turkey was cooking at our house! His smile is countless! Makes me so happy!]

GRANDPA
I am so grateful for Grandpa and his generosity and love! I am so grateful that he has allowed us to live with him... take over his house... eat his food... and spend wonderful time with him. I am so grateful for his kindness in wanting to help us as much as he can! Thank you Grandpa! Love you!!!
FAMILY
We have so many wonderful family members that its hard to thank them all! I am so grateful for all of them and for all their love! They mean so much to us and we don't know where we would be without them. Thank you! We love!
FRIENDS
Same thing... there are just too many friends to acknowledge! We love you so much! Thank you for loving us the way we are! You mean so much to us too! Thank you for everything! Love you!

There is so much to be grateful for!

Christmas 2010

LOVE Christmas and the Season it brings!
I love spending time with the family! We had a lot of Christmas parties! Christmas Eve we went to Heber for our Christmas. We had a wonderful time with the Hoskisson Family! Christmas Day we started out at home! We had our own little Christmas with Isaac and each other. Then we headed out to the Anderson home for the crazy Christmas time there! It was wonderful! :)

So what do you get a child, that doesn't like toys, for Christmas?
Well this Christmas we decided to build Isaac a toy box... and by we I mean Brian came up with the idea, I loved the idea and helped buy the products to make it, and Bruce built it... with Brian's help.

[Comments below pictures!]

Here is the finished product! Brian and I had fun painting it! All the doors and the floor is red, while the frame is blue!
Another view of the box we made and painted... and here is a little bench that we got Isaac too. Thought it would be fun to have painted also!

Isaac has loved to play with my Christmas blocks so I decided to make him his very own COLORFUL ones! :) I have about 12 different "BELIEVE"'s around the house, so I decided to take the blocks and make it for Isaac instead! I had fun painting them the different colors and then painting his name and the stars on it! [ By the way this was Christmas Eve after we got home at like 11...]

BIG SUCCESS!!! He loves the wooden box!

On Christmas Eve he got a large Kitty [Key-key]
from Grandma Alison... he has been hugging it...

... and Kissing it every chance he gets. He loves it! He gets so excited every time he see's it!

I love that concentrated look he gets! Trying to figure out his Elmo phone!

Fun Christmas gifts!

He may not like many toys... but he does love ELMO!!!

Figuring out his toy wooden box!!

Trying to open the door on the other side! Love the look!

Halloween 2010

This year we had a little dragon for Halloween!
I love Costco and I saw this costume back in like August or September. I couldn't resist, so I got it! I have to say... he was the cutest dragon of all time! :) He didn't totally love the costume... but I sure thought he was cute! We went out to Jeff and Aimee's house for a little while and had fun with the family! I love Halloween and dressing up! I was a scary WHITE ghost!

[Comment below pictures!]

Our cute little dragon not totally loving his costume!

Our very unhappy dragon. He didn't want to be in his costume but really didn't want his picture to be taken! Especially with his scary ghost of a mother!

Was so happy to see his Grandma! Loves to cuddle her!

Sitting with his cute cousin Christian... trying to get pictures of all the cousins!

All the cute cousins!
Christian = Ninja [I think] / Isaac = CUTEST GREEN DRAGON / Connor = Ninja [I think] / Brynna = purple Disco girl / Colton = Batman? / Auri = Pink disco girl

Isaac loving his grandma!!!

March 2010...

March 2010...
The beginning of March I was able to go on Katie's choir tour to California. We rode on buses down to Las Vegas where they did a workshop at UNLV. [Poor Katie got a SHOCKING experience in L.V..] Then later we got the AWESOME oppurtunity to go see the Broadway "PHANTOM OF THE OPERA". It was truly amazing! It was so unreal. It was fun... it was Katie's and my first time seeing it on Broadway. Then we went to the Bollagio to see the fountains. That was neat. We didn't get on the buses until about 11:30 pm that night. We were so excited to see the buses. We slept on the buses the rest of way to California. Well... we tried to sleep. It was brutal. We were so excited to see the IHOP at 5 in the morning. Needless to say we didn't sleep real great. We got to go into Disneyland the first two days in California. They had some great workshops there and then we just got to PLAY in Disneyland and California Adventure! It was AWESOME!!! Who doesn't love Disneyland? SERIOUSLY!!! I know I DO!!! Katie hadn't been to Disneyland [only Disneyworld - poor girl! ;)] So that was fun! Then we went on a boat cruise. We were hoping to see Whales... instead we just got sea sick. Poor Katie didn't do so hot there. She just rested on my shoulder the whole time. Felt so sad for her. Then the kids did a fireside right across from the temple. That was cool! The next day we got to go to Disneyland again! [After they had a great couple of workshops at different colleges!] We had a lot of fun... then we did some shopping in downtown Disney! Got some super fun things!!! I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!! The next day was brutal again... we drove straight home on the buses... and once we hit St. George we were in a SNOW STORM the rest of the way. We were so excited when we finally drove into the Heber valley. We all were anxious to be home.
So that was the first time I had really ever been away from Isaac... HARDEST THING EVER!!! Oh man... I missed him SOOOOOOOOOO much! I had to call EVERY day to check on him, and I welcomed many pictures daily from my parents of him. It helped ease the pain of being away from him a little. But not much! It was not easy! I survived... and so did he. BUT IT WAS HARD!!!
The rest of the month was PRETTY quiet.
Helped my parents do some more packing at their house. Got some skiing in when I could.
THE BIGGEST EVEN TOOK PLACE ON THE 25TH!
ISAAC TURNED ONE!!!
I couldn't believe my baby was ONE! The last year went by so fast! Then again... having Isaac filled up all of that time! :) It was the best year I have ever had. The most rewarding, joyful, happy, and wonderful year! He has been the light of my life!
We were going to go to the ZOO... but the weather was not great. That evening we went out to my parents house for his big birthday bash! We had our families and close friends over for cake and ice cream... and presents of course! He was spoiled! :) [Of course!!!] The cake was the best... he didn't hesitate at all. He just dove right in and enjoyed himself! It was classic! We got some great pictures! I am so grateful for my sweet little Angel and the joy he brings me. He truly is my life... he is the reason I am here on this earth. He means so much to me. I now know why my mother always says she loves me more then I love her. I love my mother dearly... but there is just no comparision to the love you have for your child. It is so 100% unconditional. I would do ANYTHING for my sweet precious boy! I am so grateful the Lord would trust me with such a precious spirit and such a huge task of raising him to be the man he needs to be. It's overwelming... but so worth it! I love him with all of my heart. My heart bursts with the amount of love I have for him. He brings me so much joy that I never knew was possible to even have. I love my sweet Isaac Henry!

February 2010...

February 2010...
I started February off by going and staying in Heber with Katie. Bruce and Alison went out of town and so Isaac and I went up to be with Katie for a few days. We had fun! Played lots of games and visited a lot.
We helped Emily move into my parents house. She needed to be out of her apartment, so she decided she would move in with our parents for a time.
We watched a lot of the Olympic's this month! It was so fun to be able to watch them!
We helped Janice move to Heber!
I learned how to make a super yummy, easy Winter White Chili. I made it a few times in February! It's so good!!!

January 2010...

So now that I am finally onto 2010 I am going to do my posts by MONTH... that is until I am up to date and current! :) So ENJOY!!! Sorry I am still so BEHIND... I am trying...
January 2010...
Well... it was my Birth month!
I started celebrating as early as I could get away with it. Mom spoiled me like usual and we went shopping. Got a few new things! Had lunch together... then we went out to dinner with Brian, Emily and both my parents were there! [And of course Isaac!!!]
ON my birthday...
Brian and I went out to dinner and a movie. We went to Gateway and ate at Tucano's. YUM! I love Brazilian food! Then we went to see "Blind Side". It was such a wonderful movie! I had a great birthday celebration!
Isaac continued to get more teeth. The teething process is not fun! He is so miserable when he is teething... but I can't blame him either. He did get two teeth this month.
I tried to get out skiing as often as I could. It was nice to have my ski pass to Solitude. Brian of course skied much, much more then I did. It was fun I got to go skiing with Katie also. We just took it nice and slow... my kind of skiing! :)
Isaac continued to grow and eat as much as possible. He was doing great on the baby food!
At the end of the month... the Anderson's went to the Mt. Aire cabin. We had a good time! Played lots of guitar hero. LOTS!!! It was fun!
What a great January!!
